Our Practice in Fort Worth

When Dr. Alisha was in 8th grade, she vividly remembers stumbling across an article that stated, “80% of blindness is preventable.” This immediately piqued her interest in optometry. She made it her mission to help people out with their vision problems. Fast forward to many years later, and she’s now an optometrist at Pack Optical!

Dr. Alisha absolutely embraces the world of optometry because it gives her a chance to change people’s lives every day. She also loves educating her patients on various options to treat their eye conditions. Whether it’s through a pair of glasses or contact lenses, she enjoys helping patients figure out what choice is best for their individual lifestyles.

Born and raised in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, Dr. Alisha is a true, proud Texan. She attended Baylor University in Waco, TX, before going to optometry school. Then, she briefly moved to Idaho to work at a private practice. Still, home kept calling, and she eventually found herself back in Texas.

When Dr. Alisha has some downtime, she enjoys traveling, trying new foods, and watching movies. She lives with her husband, and they recently welcomed their first child.

While spending several years in the medical field, Yanet would often rub elbows with people in the optometry field. The field of eye care and the eye profession had always interested her, so when the opportunity to join the team at Pack Optical came up, she took it. Now, as a front desk associate at Pack Optical, she gets to communicate with different eye patients every day!

Yanet’s favorite part of the job is being the first person a client encounters on their visit to the eye clinic. She loves greeting people with a big, bright smile and being able to answer questions they may have. She looks forward to being the first part of their memorable experience.

Born in California and raised in Texas, Yanet grew up with 3 brothers, so she learned a thing or two about fixing cars, changing oil, etc., and she absolutely loves sports. Her hobbies include going on hikes and enjoying the great outdoors.

Alex’s passion for optics began by chance while studying pharmacy, and she has never looked back since then. Alex’s unwavering dedication to her craft is evident in the quality services she offers to our patients.

Alex’s journey in the field has taken her across different cities, learning and growing from the best in the industry. Her move to Fort Worth from Houston in 2022 was the beginning of a new chapter in her career. It was here that she decided to join Pack Optical’s team.

Being born in Virginia and growing up in a military family, Alex has traveled all over the country. She’s the oldest of 5, and her 3 children keep her busy on and off the clock. But despite her hectic schedule, Alex is always up for a challenge, which is why she loves working in the ever-evolving world of optical technology.

Alex enjoys crafting and making things with her hands during her free time. If you see posts of the team in our Pack Optical shirts, they may have been made by her!

Growing up in Fort Worth, Rose had always heard great things about Pack Optical and was thrilled to finally become a part of our team. Rose says she’s found the best team and doctor to work with, and she’s excited to be able to help people every day.

As someone who has worn glasses since childhood, Rose has always been interested in vision correction. And with every woman in her family also dealing with vision issues, she knows firsthand the importance of good eye care.

Her journey began at Wal-Mart, where her personality and intelligence caught the management’s attention, who trained her to become an optician. Then, driven by a desire to learn more, Rose joined another big box retail optical, where she gained experience working closely with doctors and technicians.

But Rose’s thirst for knowledge was not yet quenched. She then moved on to work for a private doctor, where she spent another year perfecting her craft. It was when she realized that helping people see better was one of the most rewarding things she had ever done.

Rose is originally from New Mexico but grew up in Fort Worth. She speaks Spanish, so she does a lot of translating for the practice. She considers it an honor to support open communication.

During her free time, Rose loves crafting and making things. When not at work, you can find her binge-watching shows with her children!

Shahina, a seasoned Physician Assistant with over 14 years of experience since her graduation from Drexel University in 2010, brings a wealth of expertise to Pack Optical + Med Spa. Shahina’s dedication to patient care and passion for aesthetics shine through in her work.

At the forefront of innovative treatments, Shahina offers a diverse array of services including laser hair removal, Morpheus8, Define procedures, radio frequency therapy, aesthetic injections, and IPL treatments, ensuring her patients receive top-notch care tailored to their individual needs.

Ally was born in Texas and raised under the Florida sun. She has spent 12 years trying to master the optical field. Her career journey has taken her to various places, enriching her experience. Ally’s home is filled with love and laughter, shared with a caring husband and spirited daughter, finding joy in every moment. Balancing her professional dedication with family life, Ally’s story is one of chaos adventure and vision.

Meet Maddy Padilla, our resident style maven and marketing guru! Armed with an advertising degree from Texas State University, Maddy’s passion for self-care and all things aesthetic shines through in everything she does. Whether she’s perfecting the latest marketing trends, managing the med spa, or helping the optical side, she’s your go-to for blending beauty with business savvy.

Off-duty, Maddy enjoys exploring new food places all over Fort Worth (especially when there are yummy desserts) and listening to live music. She also has a husband and two fur babies at home!
