Comprehensive Eye Exams

Having your eyes professionally examined at least once per year can drastically improve not just your vision, but your overall health. At Pack Optical, we believe that routine eye wellness and ongoing preventive care are essential components of any good health care plan. That’s why we place such a strong emphasis on these services.

When our doctors are able to thoroughly examine your eyes on a regular basis, they can ensure that your vision remains as crisp and clear as possible. During an exam, we may also be able to detect the early signs of a potential eye problem so we can address it in a timely and effective manner. The sooner we can treat vision problems, the better the outcome for you. Eye exams can also aid in the early diagnosis of a variety of other health conditions, including diabetes, high blood pressure and sickle cell anemia.

If necessary, we can write you a prescription for either eyeglasses, contact lenses or both. Our office features a convenient on-site optic center with an impressive inventory of stylish and designer frames to choose from. Our friendly, knowledgeable staff will be available to assist you in selecting the frames and lenses that are right for you. For contact lens wearers, our doctors can assist in choosing from a wide selection of contact brands and types, including daily, extended and specialty fittings.

The comprehensive eye exams at Pack Optical involve a thorough check of the entire eye, both internally and externally. This includes binocular testing, refraction, color testing, glaucoma testing and screening for conditions like cataracts, macular degeneration and retinal disease. We utilize high tech, state-of-the-art equipment and diagnostic tools to ensure that our patients always receive the greatest level of care available.

Should our exam uncover the existence of an eye condition or ocular disease, we will take the appropriate steps to develop a customized treatment plan. This may include additional ongoing management with our doctors, or it may involve the expertise of an optical specialist. Referrals are available as needed.

Your eyes are an essential part of your body. Take care of them and they’ll take care of you in return for many years to come. Contact Pack Optical today to schedule a comprehensive eye exam.
